Genius Hour

Some call it Genius Hour, some 20% Time Projects, whatever the name these projects allow students to explore their own passions giving them a choice in what they learn for a set period of time a day or week. This is all fine and dandy, but where do you start? How do you manage such a thing? The answer to those questions, along with standards alignment, rationale and detailed instructions and expectations for students is what you will find in this resource.

Genius Hour Project

Even though the actual project is not graded, I wanted to create some organizers and feedback sheets (rubrics) for the students. These can be used for peer-review or by other community members so that the students receive consistent feedback. Again I have compiled and modified these from several sources to serve my purpose. Feel free to use as you see fit.
